The B.tech of Civil Engineering Department, established in 2007 whereas the M.tech and diploma in Civil Engineering were established in 2009 and 2015 respectively, offers a range of programs designed to nurture and develop future engineering professionals.
The department is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. With a team of highly experienced and dedicated faculty, the department is committed to shaping the professional growth of aspiring engineers. Beyond classroom teaching, faculty members focus on molding students into skilled and capable professionals, ready to contribute to the field of civil engineering.

The Civil Engineering Department at this institute offers a comprehensive 4-year B.Tech program & 3 years of Diploma programs designed to deliver application-oriented education across the vast spectrum of Civil Engineering, established in 2006 and 2013 respectively.
Students gain exposure to core disciplines, including Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Surveying, enabling them to specialize in their chosen areas of interest.
Our state-of-the-art laboratories have advanced instruments for Geotechnical Engineering, Concrete Technology, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources, and Geology. Modern surveying tools like Total Stations and centralized labs for Material Testing, Hydraulics, and Digital Graphics further enrich the learning experience. Additionally, hands-on training in Computer-Aided Design (STAAD) and computer graphics is integrated into the curriculum, leveraging a cutting-edge computer lab.
